Photoresistor Sensor
Description
This product features three types of photoresistors, each tailored to specific spectral characteristics: an ultraviolet photoresistor, an infrared photoresistor, and a visible photoresistor. Key parameters include:
A. Dark Current and Resistance: This is the current flowing through the photoresistor under a certain applied voltage without light exposure, known as dark current. The ratio of this applied voltage to the dark current is termed dark resistance.
B. Sensitivity: This refers to the change in the photoresistor’s resistance value (from dark resistance to light resistance) when exposed to light, indicating its responsiveness to light intensity.
C. Voltage Characteristic Curve: This curve demonstrates the relationship between the applied voltage and the photocurrent in the photoresistor, indicating how the photocurrent increases with the applied voltage.
D. Temperature Coefficient: The photoelectric effect in photoresistors is influenced by temperature. Some photoresistors exhibit higher photoelectric sensitivity at lower temperatures and reduced sensitivity at higher temperatures.
E. Rated Power: This denotes the permissible power consumption of the photoresistor. As the temperature increases, the power consumption capacity decreases to maintain normal operation.
